2 . Notice their talent for manipulation. They excel at playing the victim card and making others feel guilty or responsible for the issues they create.
3. Observe their lack of empathy towards others. While they might appear caring on the surface, covert narcissists rarely show genuine concern for anyone else’s feelings or needs.
4 . Watch out for their inflated sense of entitlement and grandiosity. These individuals believe they deserve special treatment and often exploit others to acquire it.
5. Keep an eye on their inability to handle criticism gracefully. Covert narcissists are highly sensitive to any form of negative feedback and quickly turn defensive or lash out when confronted with constructive remarks. By spotting these red flags, you can better navigate.
